Two weeks ago I went to visit my cousins in Chicago. What was I thinking? Definitely not the weather. Just spending a nice weekend with family, which I did.
Everything seemed to be perfect for them. It was snowing a bit and they thought the weather was fine. They said a few days before it had been very cold. Actually I didn´t understand why they said that the weather was fine, if while walking around town I was freezing.
Finally I went back home, one day before a huge blizzard hit, which paralyzed the city of Chicago, along with the entire east cost.
The truth is I do not think much about the weather, living in Ajijic. It’s not something you think about. But after being in the extreme weather conditions that I was, I truly began to appreciate the great weather we have here lakeside. …
