Taner Sirin – General Director and Tour Director

Taner Sirin – General Director and Tour Director

Taner fell in love with all things Mexican at an early age when he met Rudy Ibarra on the soccer fields of Santa Barbara, California. Little did he know at that time what an influence this lifelong friend would have on his future.

After many years and miles apart from each other, they reunited in 2006. Ibarra invited Taner to visit Lake Chapala, Mexico. Taner innocently asked “Where is Lake Chapala?” He was soon to discover paradise

and it didn’t take long before he was hooked. We have a saying here at Lakeside that originated with Neill James who wrote: “Once the dust of Mexico settles on your heart, you can never go home again.”

Taner realizes that after traveling to more than 30 countries over his lifetime that he is home here in Ajijic, Mexico. Insights gained from his travels, makes him an ideal person to lead Go Mexico Way and to help others discover their own paradise in Mexico.
